Texas A&M Economic Impact
Utilizing the economic engagement framework endorsed by the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities (APLU) and the Association of American Universities (AAU) for assessing university contributions to the economy, Texas A&M University partners with EMSI to produce four reports on the economic impact of Texas A&M. This partnership developed after an initial statewide collaboration between the state’s Council of Public University Presidents and Chancellors and EMSI to explore the economic impact of Texas higher education.
Texas A&M economic impact studies are available at four levels. Please contact Suzanne Droleskey at sdroleskey[at]tamu.edu for more detailed reports or questions about this information.
Note: We counsel against trend comparisons across years because data sources and methodologies are updated regularly to provide more robust, refined results.
